Nightmares Come True [Part 1]

 “That long ass drive,” Drake mumbled pulling into a parking spot in front of the resort. “Nicki wake up,” he shook Nicki who was fast asleep in the passenger seat, curled up with her pink fleece blanket. “Mmmh,” she whined and he chuckled and hopped out of their white escalade. He peeked in the back window and checked on Audrey who was also fast asleep in her car seat; cuddling her Minnie Mouse that Uncle Wayne had given her. Some of Young Money decided to take a group vacation at a ski resort and of course Drake and Nicki decided to bring their 3-month-old daughter Audrey.

“Hi how can I help you?” The woman at the front desk said as Drake approached her. “Yeah, the name is Aubrey Graham,” he said leaning on the counter that looked like it was carved directly from a tree. The whole resort had that kind of forest/winter feel, just perfect place to relax. “Okay we have you in room 524, how many keys would you like?” she asked. “Two is fine, thank you,” she nodded and handed Drake the key cards and he headed back to the truck to see if Nicki was up. “Babe we’re all checked in, you ready?” Drake said opening the front door and getting back in. “Let me call Wayne and see where they all at,” Nicki said getting out her blackberry. Audrey started whimpering a little in the back seat and Drake got out and opened the back door. “What’s going on princess?” he asked taking his daughters small hand. Her beautiful hazel eyes were full of tears yet she still managed to smile when she saw her daddy. “You probably hungry, can you wait until we get to the room?” Drake asked conversing with Audrey like she was an adult. “Ahh!” she cooed and Drake bent down and gave her a kiss. “Ya’ll at the cabin already? Well we’re putting stuff in the room and then we’ll be down,” Nicki said into the phone. Drake got back in the front and drove towards the door that was closer to their room.

“Lemme let y’all in and then I’ll get everything,” Drake grabbed Audrey’s car seat out of the back and they headed inside. “Oh my gawd, this is so nice!” Nicki squealed once they got to their suite. “The fact that you niggas made me leave LA to go play in the snow is so messed up but I could get used to this,” Nicki jumped on the king size bed and spread out. “You so damn ratchet,” Drake unbuckled Audrey and picked her up. Audrey looked around the room the best she could and giggled a little bit, just like her mother. “Are you hungry mommy’s baby?” Nicki asked getting up to retrieve her daughter. She sat down in the couch in the living room area and prepared to breast-feed. “Can you hold her for a minuet?” Nicki asked Drake who took a seat next to her and nodded. “Okay,” Nicki cradled Audrey and helped her latch on. “I can’t believe she’s here,” Nicki smiled down and Drake put his arm around her as they watched their daughter.

 After Nicki had finished feeding the baby and Drake had gotten everything from the car, they decided to head down the cabin that Wayne had rented. “Sup bro?” Drake said setting Audrey’s car seat down and giving Wayne a hug. “What’s good, glad y’all finally made it,” he said and proceeded to hug Nicki. “And how is my lil niece doing?” Wayne took Audrey out of her car seat and brought her into the living room where everybody had gathered. The whole crew started chatting it up in the living room, talking about anything and everything. “I gotta hit the slopes soon, who’s down?” Drake spoke up and immediately looked at Nicki who put her finger up. “Oh no, actually oh hell to the no,” she said and Drake immediately put his pitiful face on. “You said you would try it Onika,” he said giving her a cheeky smile. Wayne, Drake, Tyga, Twist and Mack all decided to go and started getting their gear on. “Get her shit and put it on her,” Tyga said pointing at Nicki. “I’ll do it, let me change the princess first,” Baby said and carried Audrey upstairs. “Y’all niggas ain’t making me do nothing,” Nicki jumped off the couch and ran into the downstairs bedroom and barricaded herself.

“What y’all be feeding lil mama?” Baby asked returning downstairs with Audrey after 5 minuets and Drake looked up. “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Nicki yelled from the bedroom knowing they were talking about her. “I’m just saying, she dropped a load like a truck driver,” Baby said and everybody cracked up including Audrey who giggled. “Give my daughter man,” Drake kissed Audrey as he took her from Baby. “Y’all niggas trying to say my milk is spoiled?” Nicki hollered and opened the door only to be grabbed by Baby and Mack. “You do like to be in the sun a lot babe,” Drake responded. “I’ma hurt you,” Nicki growled. Audrey looked at her mommy who she thought was acting silly and she pointed a little bit and let out her first belly laugh. “Did she just laugh for real?” Nicki asked looking up. Audrey laughed again as the guys got Nicki ready for her first outing to the ski slopes. “You laughing at mommy’s pain baby? The struggle is real!” Nicki said pretending to look hurt and Audrey smiled a cheeky smile just like Drake would. “Dang just like you D Man,” Twist said taking his niece and Drake proudly smiled. “All right, lets go,” Wayne opened the door. “Take care of my princess, and tell Shanell to get the hell up,” Nicki warned as Baby took Audrey who put her head on his shoulder. “Shut up Nic,” he winked the shut the door as the group headed up towards the ski slopes.
